May Update

Thanks to all who responded to the needs that were shared in our last blog. Since then, thanks to your generosity and the extra support from International Needs, Calvine has been able to meet a number of the ongoing needs of the school. He shares his gratitude below:

“Thank you so much for your support to us towards our salaries, purchasing food for the school, servicing our school pump and tank and maintenance of the school van. We are always humbled here by your overwhelming love and support to us.”

We are also excited to report that due to a generous donation, the second stage of building the permanent classrooms has begun. This will mean another 3 classrooms are being constructed. It is imperative that these new classrooms are completed as soon as possible, as the present school is rapidly deteriorating with a number of classrooms now unusable.

While the dairy and chicken projects are running smoothly at present, you will see from the picture above, the current classrooms are literally falling apart. We are so thrilled that the next stage is happening right now!
